About Richard Gandy Photographers

Our style, often described as Lifestyle and Photojournalistic, and to that we would add Artsy, is to blend in quietly on your wedding day observing and capturing events as they unfold. We look for interesting angles and details that reveal the natural beauty of life -- moments captured that make your wedding photos and albums unique. We believe that a wedding should be about the interaction of the couple and their families -- not an endless photo shoot staged and directed by the photographer. We encourage our clients to bask in the joy and excitement of the day and just be themselves. Rest assured, we'll be there capturing those special moments that occur naturally. We do of course shoot a short series of posed group shots when requested by the bride, but we try to make this segment of the day fun, relaxed, and efficient.

Our goal is for your relationship with us to be pleasant, simple and easy. We're happy to meet with you in person to discuss your wedding plans, but often distance is a prohibiting factor. We utilize technology; however, to simplify things for you and get you onto other planning activities. Most of our brides book after viewing our web site and after a phone consultation. Following the wedding, your wedding photos and album pre-designs are posted online for your review. We don't make you come into the studio to try and up-sell you. You order your selections and albums via our web site, or via e-mail. Simple and easy!
